Non-Linear Healing

From those blessed to the easiest, silver spoon lives to those struggling with severe problems, we all have something to heal from. As difficult as starting the healing process may be, a lot of times staying on that process is even harder. Healing mentally and emotionally are the same as healing physically, it takes rest, a little abnormal exercise, and there are a lot of bad days still in there. To add some support and guidance to your amazing journey of healing, here are some of the things that really helped me along my journey along with my story.     I was a extremely toxic person and sometimes I still am. I would ruin peoples days just because of my mood, I was always upset, and I chose horrible friends. I put myself in relationships that were abusive, toxic, and sometimes just wrong. Even worse, I gave myself no recovery time. If things ended with a toxic boy, there would be another one in just a few days. I developed eating disorders, horrible ...

8 Tips to a Better Daily Life

Honestly? I absolutely love my life. Almost everyday of it I do my best to enjoy to the fullest. I loveeee how I'm living currently. Do I still have some toxic traits and habits that bring me down? Hell yea! Everyone does! But regardless, life is amazing.      This is recent though! I used to dread getting up in the morning. I used to groan about work and I complained about school every day. I grew to love and enjoy my life and it took some serious sacrifices. I had to let go of a guy who I thought I wanted to marry, I had to stop taking a medicine that I'd been on for months, and I had to make some crazy life changes.      Today, I'm writing this blog to hopefully guide you into loving your life as well, but be prepared to make some sacrifices along the way. 1. Find your priorities      Somethings are worth our effort, energy, and stress and others just aren't. Growing up, I was always told that school is your number one ...

Leaving When Nothings "Wrong"

If you're reading this, then you probably already know that even though nothing is wrong, something obviously isn't right with whatever situation that you're currently in. It should be easy that if nothing is wrong then everything must be right, but you and I both know that it isn't always that simple.      First, I want you to know that I started writing this in aspects of a romantic relationship, but now I am realizing that it can apply to a variety of situations. My experience in this subject is coming from my most recently ended relationship, a few older relationships, and now a job position that I had to leave.      First of all, if you're reading this, then you more than likely already know if you should leave or not, but I will gladly give you the reaffirmation that you are searching for. Here are my main signs that I look for when I start to feel less than comfortable in a situation.  1. Are You Happy?     Not spe...

50 Unique Hobbies to Try

Life can get straight up boring. I know that isn't a fun way to look at things, but it's so true. We wake up, go to work or school or both, come home and relax on the couch or in bed, then go to sleep and repeat the same process again tomorrow. It's a repetitive cycle that gets us through everyday, but is that really all that there is to life? No!!!     Go home and instead of just sitting, try something new everyday until you've found something that you love! Hobbies are so necessary to breaking up the repetition of everyday life. I have listed a ton of hobbies below for you to try and linked a general page on how to get started below. I hope you have a blast reading it and find one or even a few things to interrupt your daily habits. 1. Art!     Oh? You said you're not good at art? Lies! There are so many different types and forms of art to try! Painting, drawing, sculpting, heck, there's even something called trash art! The only thing hold...

10 Life Changing Habits to Start

Sometimes, the life we have simply does not feel like the life we should be having. Working 8-5 five days a week and then cleaning on the weekends just doesn't feel like what we should be doing. It just doesn't feel like living .     These ten tips are ones that I have personally applied to my life that have helped me feel more alive and productive while lifting my mood, bettering my day, and giving me lots of fun energy. 1. Detoxify your life     Just like you detox your body of harmful chemicals and bad foods, sometimes we have to detox our daily lives of things that are potentially or proven to be bad for us. This isn't an entirely fun or exciting process, but being around negative things or people can ultimately be part of the reason we have bad days and a negative view on life.  Some things I removed in my life detox Watching the News Unsupportive, immature, or negative friends, family, or coworkers Foods and drinks that make me feel gross Neg...

Loving the Body

Hello again!       I believe that this will be my first blog that is truly helpful in the direction of growth. From what I've learned about myself, I must first go back and acknowledge what has happened in order to cause my insecurities and lack of confidence before I can grow away from them.       Some of the occurrences I still do not prefer to talk about unless it is with a close friend, but others I think are more than okay to share.      Honestly, I had a fairly good and fortunate home life. My parents stayed together, I had a mostly enjoyable older brother, and cousins and grandparents were always close. Although certain things in my home life could have contributed to some of my insecurities, I cannot blame them on my home.     I believe the issues really started with school. I was a little chubbier than the other kids. I was taller than most of the boys and all of the girls. Looking back at pictures, I was not...
